Santa Fe Cheese Straws
Geraldine’s® granddaughter, Lindsey was born in Texas and came up with this recipe, with a real Southwestern flair. Take Pepper Jack and Queso Blanco cheeses, add corn meal for flavor and crunch, along with the 3 C’s: Chipotle, Cilantro and Cumin. Enjoy it with friends, sprinkle on a bowl or chili, or just open a cold beer and you will be in heaven.

Ingredients: Pepper Jack Cheese (cultured pasteurized milk, red jalapeno peppers, green jalapeno peppers, salt, enzymes), enriched flour bleached ( wheat flour, enzymes, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), queso (pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), degerminated yellow corn meal, soybean oil, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salted butter ( cream, water, salt), contains less than 2% of each of the following: nonfat milk, ground cumin, ground chipotle peppers, salt, ground cayenne peppers, mono- & diglycerides, cilantro, soy lecithin, sodium benzoate & calcium disodium edta (preservatives), citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, garlic juice concentrate, beta carotene color, vitamin a palmitate. |
